Slice of Life / Full Acrylic Wall Mounted Cabinet
Aye, I went over to Colin's house to watch a game of World Cup Qualifier with Chris and Yiwen. Actually, my objective was to see the awesome full acrylic wall-mounted cabinet which Colin's uncle has designed and built for him. Cost? It's free for him! *ENVIOUS*

Colin and his new cabinet

The exact dimensions of this cabinet are 180 (L) x 110 (H) x 20 (W) in cm.

This is a magnet-type handle to open the cabinet. The magnet is a bit too strong though.

With these hinges, the cabinet actually can prevent dust from entering. I can't say the cabinet is 100% sealed, but it's somewhere there definitely.

So how does this cabinet mounted onto the wall?

By a couple of small screws like this. However, do note that the cabinet is supported by a wall partition at the bottom as well. For a "free-hanging" cabinet, a better design should be necessary, for heavier content.

Well, this is not all of his collections though.

Such wall shelves are ideal for mint-in-box displays like this.

And finally, 2 IKEA Detolfs which most collectors have.

His Detolfs are much more filled than mine, as Transformers are larger. Here are the zoom in photos for the 8 partitions.

Yes, I am tempted to get one. Without seeing the actual cabinet, I have already asked for a quotation just after a photo took by Colin the day before. How much? It cost S$550, including installation, for a similar design and dimensions.

I'll consider first..
